OBERLIN GREEN ACRES DEVELOPMENT
About this Project:
Redevelopment of a 15 acre site in Oberlin, Ohio within and existing urban fabric of homes, retail, and commercial uses. Metropolitan Architecture Studio worked with the NRP Group to create a master plan for a new sustainable neighborhood. Focused on empty nesters, and an Aging in Place market, our project team created a neighborhood plan with 40 to 50 cottage style residential units, common buildings, tree lined streets, and 4 to 5 acres of green space. Proximity to downtown Oberlin and Oberlin College, and access to the NorthCoast Inland Bike trail provides
for choice in transportation. bike storage and community space located at the beginning link of the trail.
